This work is made from webcam recordings of Times Square between December 31, 2025 and January 1, 2026, sourced from EarthCam. Times Square is often seen as a landmark of today’s world, a place where everything seems to happen at once. By splitting the video into a grid, I bring different moments together within a single frame. Times Square becomes a constantly circulating landscape, where time feels slightly out of joint, delayed, duplicated and replayed.
这件作品是由来自 EarthCam 的时代广场网络摄像头录像制作而成的，影像拍摄于 2025 年 12 月 31 日至 2026 年 1 月 1 日之间。时代广场常被视为当今世界的标志性场所，一个仿佛一切同时发生的空间。通过将视频分割成网格结构，我把不同时间的瞬间置于同一个画面之中。时代广场由此转化为一个不断循环的景观，在这里时间似乎有些错位，被延迟、复制、反复回放。
